ÔdÔ, virtual reality, real solidarity

Solidarity FabLab

Côte d'Ivoire

With a name that means "love" in the Twi language and a logo that evokes two eyes wide open (to the world?), Ôdô addresses the inaccessibility of gyms in Côte d'Ivoire. An ode to inclusion!

Its platform, coupled with a virtual reality headset, gives paraplegics an immersive, barrier-free sports experience.

A ramp accommodates the wheelchair and enables data collection: speed, distance traveled, calories burned, etc.

The virtual reality headset plunges the user into a thrilling ride, offering a choice of several environments.

What's certain is that Michel Pierre, Anoumou Saint Christophe, Adjei Randolphe, Moiyé Othniel Josué, Salif Abdoul Samade, Yves Roland, and Ziane Cyprienne have really put their thinking caps on!
