Orange Foundation
Since 2005 we have been supporting philanthropic projects in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, in the countries where the Orange group is present as an operator. Through our local foundations we work in close proximity with local people. Today we are expanding the frontiers of our work with digital solidarity, implementing major programmes in health, disability, education and culture.

An international presence with local roots
To date some Orange subsidiaries have set up local foundations that manage philanthropic initiatives in partnership with the Group: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, France, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Morroco, Poland, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, and Spain.
Always closer
Working in proximity to local populations, our foundations are committed to promoting well-being and quality of life together. We work in close collaboration with the Group’s subsidiaries and in partnership with local associations and NGOs. Pragmatism and effectiveness for the beneficiaries guide our choices for the projects to be supported.
The local knowledge that our teams possess enhance the value of the partnerships with the associations and NGOs. Being already present on the ground, we can be even more aware of needs when implementing and overseeing projects.
Education, health and culture without borders
We participate in building or equipping infrastructure for health and education, such as treatment centres for women, and also provide for the training of teachers and health personnel.
By using digital technology to benefit health and people with autism, in particular, we are working to improve quality of life for people with disabilities. Our commitment to education also extends to supporting social integration through digital technology for the excluded, such as the women served by our digital centres and young people trained in our Solidarity FabLabs.
In the world of culture we continue to support vocal music and to promote new talent, as well as helping protect our musical heritage. We use digital to promote the spread of culture, particularly by broadcasting major events like operas
Responding to emergencies
The Orange Foundation also responds to emergency situations all over the world, as well as, whenever suitable, making use of the possibilities offered by digital tools to accelerate social and economic development.
