Nina is 47 and lives in Ungheni city. She is married and raises 2 children. After she had got vocational education and training (hairdresser, manicure-pedicure & make-up master, barber), Nina sought to consolidate her skills in this field.

By joining the team of a popular beauty salon in the city, she had the opportunity to get large hands on experience directly from the best hairdressers and manicure-pedicure specialists. At the same time, she learned about the secrets of running of such kind of business, its pitfalls from inside etc. Along this professional journey, Nina gained the trust of her customers, thus, created a good base of loyal clients, who can ensure a constant income. She also figured out how important it is to meet their personal needs and adjust to their demands. Nowadays, considering all the pandemic stress, risks and limits, a burning demand was registered for mobile aesthetics care services.
The AWA served as a startup towards bringing into reality this idea, and facilitated the launch of Nina’s small business – the Mobile Beauty Salon. This service is the first of this kind in the region. In the future, all the appointments will be set up via an online platform.
