The Solidarity FabLabs Challenge 2024, lets'go!

Since 2014, the Orange Foundation has been committed to supporting young people in integration through the Solidarity FabLabs program. We support 225 Solidarity FabLabs in 24 countries, as well as 61 Solidarity Third Places and Orange Digital Centers that incorporate Solidarity FabLabs.

Through these projects, we carry the belief that digital technology is a privileged lever for equal opportunities, social and professional integration.

Since 2016, we have organized an international digital fabrication challenge for young people in integration hosted by associations supported by our Foundation.

This year's theme: HandiSport makers, in resonance with Sustainable Development Goal No. 10: Reduced Inequalities.

Visuel du Challenge des FabLabs Solidaires 2024

Solidarity FabLabs and Third Places, as well as Orange Digital Centers, are invited to imagine with young people in integration - aged 16 to 25 and unemployed - a project that proposes solutions to meet this challenge using FabLab tools.

This challenge will result in the awarding of three prizes:

  • the jury prize
  • Orange Foundation Favorite Prize
  • Internet community Prize

The three prizes of €10,000 each will be awarded in May 2024.
They will enable the winners to realize and develop their project, or to reproduce it with other young people.
